We left BC last November, it was an ideal time to head south and we drove from BC to Baja.
The Ponderosa and Annex were our home for 5 1/2 months on the road.
We crossed the border at Mexicali East and drove south on Hwy 5.
The road is quiet and nice driving, following the coast, on the sea of Cortez. Camping is permitted on all beaches, and there are many side trips available.
Having an e-bike allowed for transportation when the tent was set up, and saved driving in towns.
The tent was perfect for the Baja climate, with lots of ventilation and up high away from snakes and scorpions.
