Charles Post

Charles Post is a U.C. Berkeley graduate student instructor and ecologist specializing in freshwater ecosystems, and in particular the American Dipper – North America’s only fully aquatic songbird. When he’s not studying, teaching field biology or American environmental history, he’s often surfing, exploring the rivers and streams of northern California or working on his new home, a 50-foot sailboat, on San Francisco Bay. When asked what his life goal is, he says, “It’s to get folks excited about and stoked on the ecological underpinnings of the landscapes we know and love.”
