Peyto Folding Knife
Handmade in Alberta, Canada, of forged German steel and camel bone. This razor sharp, high hardness, well-rounded legacy knife is your ideal companion for everyday life. Safe, compact and convenient strapped onto your belt, this knife will get all your minor outdoor work done – cutting a net, gutting a fish, whittling a marshmallow stick or cutting your steak.
Named Peyto after “Wild Bill” Peyto, a pioneer, mountain guide, and early park warden for Banff National Park, Alberta. Legend has it that in a bout of humour, he walked into a crowded Banff bar with a live lynx strapped to his back! His moniker also graces one of Banff’s most photographed lakes: Peyto Lake. The colour of which seems nearly impossible to the naked eye, and closely matches the hue of the handle of our Peyto Folding Knife.
