When I first became a dad, I was immediately eager to share my love for the outdoors with my four year old son, Jack. I have vivid memories of camping with my dad as youngster and have kept at it as an adult. With a number of backyard campouts under our belts, we recently added a Treeline Tamarack Adventure Series rooftop tent to my 2019 RAM.
As a commercial lifestyle and landscape photographer I also saw the addition of the rooftop tent as an easy opportunity for future photography exploration and camping road trips. We recently completed our inaugural two-night camping trip with the tent at Lake Livingston State Park in our home state of Texas.
The experience is something I suspect both of us will remember for the rest of our lives. We were treated to perfect early fall Texas weather and enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets, cooking s’mores on the campfire, and hiking the piney woods. The highlight, however, was experiencing the joy on my son’s face when he caught his first fish. We look forward to sharing many more family memories together in our Treeline tent.
